BYOS 001: i want to rest and be held by someone who loves me

a.k.a. skips (CK Neiman)’s first book, “i want to rest and be held by someone who loves me”, is a 2nd-person autobiographical collection of photography and writing. It is an invitation to try on his life from the ages of 17-30, documented haphazardly on film and phone cameras as he crashes through drug addiction, deaths, success, and self-discovery.

The artist formerly known as DUCKY creates an intimate, personal, and ultimately relatable journey out of his own lived experiences.Though his journey is unique in the details, it is universal in his expression and understanding of hope, love, and loss.

This is a locally produced, handmade, high-quality hardcover photography and writing book. It is manufactured in Los Angeles, California by For The Birds Trapped In Airports. The cover is printed white fabric, with gold foil stamped onto the spine. The content of the book is 164 pages, and it also includes custom designed end pages drawn by skips.

This is a limited edition book. No more than 250 copies will be made available to the public.
